FESCO and GeoTour Logistics Hunchun will develop container transportation at the Primorye-2 ITC
The FESCO Transport Group (Group, FESCO) and the Chinese company GeoTour Logistics Hunchun Co., Ltd will develop container transportation on the international transport corridor “Primorye-2” (ITC “Primorye-2”).
The corresponding memorandum was signed by the commercial director of the FESCO Integrated Transport branch in Vladivostok (part of FESCO) Roman Dyablov and the general director of GeoTour Logistics Hunchun Guo Hongliang as part of the opening ceremony of the “Days of the Yanbian-Korean Autonomous Region in the Primorsky Territory”.
According to the document, the parties will launch container transportation from the Chinese city of Hunchun (Jilin Province) through the ports of the Russian Far East and further to the ports of the People’s Republic of China, such as Shanghai, Ningbo, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and others. Loading in the reverse direction is also assumed.
The bulk of the cargo flow will be food products, grains, edible oils, wood and wood products, industrial and chemical products, minerals and more.
As part of the agreements, FESCO will organize intermodal transportation, including using rail and sea transport, provide fitting platforms and container equipment, and also provide forwarding services.
