Hong Kong Air Cargo Launches New European E-commerce Route
Hong Kong Air Cargo has launched a new e-commerce route connecting Hong Kong and Liège in Belgium, with all-cargo flights operated by Airbus A330-200F aircraft. The first flight, RH375, departed from Hong Kong International Airport at 00:20 HKT on February 11 and arrived at Liège Airport at 10:40 local time. This is the third new European destination for Hong Kong Air Cargo, following Milan in Italy and London Stansted in the UK.
Captain Adrian ARUL, Flight Operations Director of Hong Kong Air Cargo highlighted “Our new route to Liège, one of the major air cargo hubs in Europe, will enhance Hong Kong’s economic and trade ties with the continent and offer more choices for air cargo logistics to customers. He also stated that Hong Kong Air Cargo will continue to expand its network and services in the future while supporting Hong Kong’s role as a leading air cargo logistics platform between China and the world.”
Mr. Alexis Lapot, Senior Cargo Manager of Liege Airport expressed “Being the home of an all-cargo airline like Hong Kong Air Cargo makes us proud and honored. The choice of Liege Airport demonstrates once further its prominence in the e-commerce industry. The addition of a Hong Kong airline to the roster of carriers operating scheduled flights between the two airports is the cherry on top for us at LGG.“
