Adria Rail becomes a full member of the METRANS Group
METRANS’ expansion in the Europe successfully continues. Less than a year after METRANS Group took over 51% of Adria Rail, the Adria Rail Group of companies has become a 100% member of the METRANS Group. On this occasion, we in Adria Rail will present the new logo, aligned with the group’s visual identity.
Adria Rail is a Croatian company that operates intermodal trains to, from and through Croatia. It has also been the intermodal operator of the trains connecting the Rijeka container terminal in the Adriatic Seas to its terminal in Indija, on the outskirts of Belgrade in Serbia. Adria Rail covers over 70% of container traffic departing from the Brajdica Container Terminal in Rijeka.
The Adria Rail Operator is also a railway undertaking with a railway licence for Croatia.
The Indija terminal in Serbia is the 20th terminal in the METRANS network and through regular trains heading to and from here also to the Budapest HUB terminal, METRANS enables connectivity to the entire Europe.
With a fleet of METRANS wagons, soon also the METRANS locomotives and more than 40 trucks in Serbia, Adria Rail has the same modus operandi as the other METRANS operations. Ensuring METRANS customers get the top-quality level of services, no matter where in Europe they order METRANS services.
