Ezhou Huahu Airport opened in July 2022 and is expected to be one of the largest air cargo hub in Asia with its expansion. The feature of this airport is its special location which is not only easy to access to Tianhe Airport, the river port and railway station in Wuhan, but also in the center of China’s major cities. As the leading airport for the Hubei International Logistics Core Hub Project in Hubei Province, China, Tianhe Airport and Ezhou Huahu Airport are aiming to create an “air road to the Overseas”.

In 2021, YLCN has established a joint venture company, Ezhou Yusen Dadao Zhongcai Logistics Co., Ltd. (EYDL) with Hubei Dadaozhongcai Import and Export Service Co., Ltd. YLCN is going to start cargo terminal operations and cargo charter arrangement service at Ezhou Huahu Airport in May 2025.
On March 24, 2024, a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction initiation of the cargo terminal was successfully held with the attendance of Ambassador Kenji Kanasugi of the Embassy of Japan in China and Chinese government officials.

Through its expansion into this new business field, YLCN will contribute to create the customer’s supply chain by providing new values, such as the development of a new transportation model relaying Hubei Province, located in the center of China, and the proposal of multiple transportation using sea freight, air freight, rail, and warehouse management.

At Yusen Logistics, our Mission is to become the world’s preferred supply chain logistics company and to contribute to the sustainable development of business and society.
